New slim trophy card available at Playfire.com

London based social networking site for gamers Playfire.com has today released a major update to their popular trophy card system. In the backdrop of three new trophy patches hitting the console for Warhawk, NovaStrike, and PAIN, Playfire has created a new slim alternative (see below) that 's designed specifically for forum signature spaces and other vertically constrained areas, along with a number of new themes for both the new and original versions.

But the update doesn't stop there! In addition to the new size, the team has introduced automated level calculation based on the number & type of trophies you have (bronze, silver, gold etc) combined with a nifty progress bar representing your progress towards your next level.  The interface for adding trophies has also been completely revamped, styled & simplified making adding trophies even quicker and easier than before.

In addition to the new slim widget, the team has also updated their original widget with five brand new themes (see below) -- Pain, Mirror's Edge, Buzz Quiz TV, NovaStrike & PLAYSTATION 3.

And for all you budding designers out there, Playfire is now accepting theme submissions! So if you fancy submitting a new trophy card theme for the official Playfire roster, then your next step should be to download the official trophy card template here. Once you’ve polished your design to perfection, you then just need to email your submission to abby [at] playfire [dot] com.

Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition Review | NoobFeed

Adiba from NoobFeed writes: Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition includes five versions of a classic 2D platformer and surrounds them with a carefully chosen historical archive. The MS-DOS version alone has more than 120 extra levels made by fans and developers using the Rayman Designer tool, which makes it much more fun to play again. But you might wonder how much variety there really is beyond little differences in sound and animation, as most versions are very similar.

Baladins Review | NoobFeed

Hasan from NoobFeed writes: Baladins knows what it wants to be: a digital tale you can read over and over again. It lets you try new things, laugh at strange quest results, and slowly figure out a mystery that keeps looping around. Are you ready for one more roll of the dice, or will you accept the reset, gather your trust tokens, and finally trick the dragon?
